The session “Advanced Analysis and Characterisation for Green and High-Performance Materials” highlights the critical role of modern analytical and characterisation techniques in material development, process optimisation, and quality control. It features presentations on green nanocomposite materials for photocatalysis, bamboo-derived activated carbon produced via green routes with robust quality assessment, and studies linking nanoparticles and microstructure to better understand their impact on the mechanical performance of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC). Together, these talks demonstrate how advanced analysis enables deeper structure–performance insights and accelerates the translation of research outcomes into real-world applications.
