Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nho received his PhD in Earth Science with speciality in Environmental Chemistry at the University of New Caledonia (France) in 2018, has strong experience on analytical chemistry, development of analytical methods and assessment of ecosystem risks, impacts of metal(loid)s in waters/ soils, foods, medicinals, agricultural products.
His current research activities include: dynamics, geochemistry, and bioavailability of metal(loid)s in riverine and estuarine waters/ soils and plants for purposes to:
- Assess pollution status and ecosystem risks
- Manage and control food safety
- Monitor plants for the treatment of metals/metalloids to apply for the development of environmental and resource protection policies
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nho has been PI (Principle Investigator)/co-PI of 02 international collaboration projects, being the author/co-author of 40 publications in prestigious national/international journals (among them 27 ISI/Scopus papers), 01 book chapter published by John Wiley and Sons, Inc. and 01 textbooks for teaching purpose.
