The S433 Amino Acid Analyzer operates on the principle of cation exchange chromatography to separate free amino acids. Subsequently, a post-column derivatization with ninhydrin is performed, and the resulting compounds are measured at 440nm and 570nm. This method is mandatory according to European Union Directive 98/64/EC. Sykam's optimized column packing technology minimizes the accumulation of fats and proteins that can damage the column. As a result, the column can be reused multiple times while maintaining high accuracy compared to other columns on the market. Sykam's policy also allows users to exchange used columns for a price that is only one-third of the original purchase price.
