The Holmen NHP100 is a strength testing machine designed specifically for pellets (animal feed). The device operates by adding pre-weighed pellet samples into the testing chamber, where an air stream (70mBar) causes the pellets to collide with each other and with the surfaces of the sieve. After the testing cycle, the pellets are removed and weighed to obtain the ‘Pellet Durability Index’ (PDI).

Advantages: quick and simple operation; adjustable timing; multiple sieve hole sizes available, raging from 1.25 mm to 4.0 mm.
